Chief Executive Officer / Nomura Asset Management (Middle East)
Mr. Fadlallah is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nomura Asset Management (Middle East).
He has over 30 years of experience in the international capital markets, including 20 years focused on the Middle East. He has worked in a number of key roles including equity sales, research, and as head of investment banking in Saudi Arabia.
As well as managing SWF and key institutional relationships for the asset management division he has been a focal point for cross-divisional business in the region. He is a standing member of the Executive Committee for Nomura International in the Middle East.
Mr. Fadlallah is a founding member of CFA Bahrain, a former member of the board of academic qualifications at the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Finance, and frequently speaks at industry events and conferences, including appearances at CFA Arabia, CFA Bahrain, CFA Kuwait, the Saudi Economic Forum, and Hedge Fund World.
He is a contributor to the book The Gulf Region: A New Hub of Global Financial Power, (Chatham House), Why the Middle East Needs a Single Market, (Financial Times, January 2013), and has authored numerous strategy notes on the GCC equity markets over the past 12 years including The Great Arabian Bubble in 2005.
Mr. Fadlallah is a regular contributor to Newsweek Middle East and has made numerous guest appearances on Bloomberg Television.
Mr. Fadlallah has written extensively on Corporate Governance and authored articles on Corporate Governance in the MENA region, (Hawkamah Journal, January 2015), and Setting The Tone For Listing GCC State Owned Enterprises (Hawkamah Journal, June 2017).
Mr. Fadlallah holds a BSc degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and is a CFA charterholder.
